Do you want to become member of Society of actuaries of the Republic of Srpska?
The Association of Actuaries of the Republic of Srpska is open to all professionals in the field of actuarial, risk management and insurance.
Membership in the Association is voluntary, and is achieved by signing the application form and paying the membership fee, with the prior consent of the Assembly of the Association.
The association keeps a register of its members.
Choose type of membership
UARS members: regular members, associate members and honorary members.
A regular member of the Association can only be a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina residing in the Republika Srpska who has valid authorizations for actuarial activities issued by the competent authority – the Insurance Agency of the Republika Srpska and who is registered in the Register of Certified Actuaries with the Insurance Agency of the Republika Srpska.
The Assembly may, by a decision, determine additional professional requirements for a regular member.
Who makes decision about joining new members to Society of actuaries?
The Assembly of the Association determines the fulfillment of the conditions from the Statute for the members of the Association and makes a decision on the admission of a regular, associate member and an honorary member at the proposal of the Management board.
Engagement of members of Society of actuaries
The rights of a regular member are to: participate in the work of the Assembly, participate in decision-making of the Assembly, elect and be elected to all bodies of the Association in accordance with Statute, express opinions and views on the work of the Association and make proposals and exercise rights and member of the Association.
An honorary member of the Association may be a domestic and foreign citizen who is especially credited for the work of the Association, the development and application of actuarial science and / or recognized scientists.
Honorary members are elected by the Assembly on the basis of the proposal of the Board of Directors.
Only honorary members who are also regular members of the Association have the right to vote at the session of the Assembly of the Association.
An associate member of the Association can be a person who is: studying or working in actuarial work, and has not yet met the requirements for a regular member, actively monitors and assists the actuarial profession.
Associate members do not have the right to vote at the session of the Assembly of the Association.
Associate and honorary members cannot and will not be elected to the bodies of the Association.
