AARS representatives attend working meeting organized by UNDP for catastrophy risks in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Aim of the UNDP working meeting was to set goals how to improve insurance of property for public institutions, specifically for catastrophy risks.
Meeting attanded 20 participants who presented idea for promotion and marketing activities that can improve this insurance segment.
Also some ideas for delepment of new insurance products were presented for insurance of public instituions against natural catastrophy. Attenders identified changes on legal frame.
Development program of United nations in Bosnia realizes project for sistematical management of natural catastrophy caused by climat changes. As part of those activities are also activities on determining proposal foe efficient usage of insurance as method za risk management with focus on public property, public instituons. For that purpose was predicted this working meeting with colleagues from insurance industry. Besides that,
In addition, the creation of a special “Guide for the insurance of buildings and equipment of public institutions against fire and natural disasters” is planned, as well as a special research that will be conducted among public institutions.
