The Association of Actuaries of Republika Srpska, in cooperation with the Insurance Agency of Republika Srpska and Actuaries without Borders (AWB), a section of the International Association of Actuaries, organized a two-day seminar on the development of insurance tariffs. The purpose of the seminar was to present methodologies for calculating non-life insurance premiums. The main goal of the seminar was to prepare local actuaries for the announced liberalization of compulsory motor third party liability insurance.
The lecturer was an AWB volunteer, a professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, Wisconsin, USA, PhD Nasser Hadidi, a member of CAS and SOA and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. The seminar was held in Banja Luka 19-20. March 2015. Over 40 actuaries from across the region attended.
